To obtain the Advanced Open Water Diver certificate, you must complete 4 SSI Specialty courses and have made a total of 24 registered dives.

Divers who have completed the Diver Stress and Rescue or equivalent program and four (4) additional SSI Specialization programs and have a total of 50 open water dives are eligible to earn the SSI Master Diver certification.
